Okay, so you a white person who is disgusted, and totally fed up with what is happening in this country to people of color, and especially the murder andterrorization of Black people.

We are not experts, but as activists, it seemed like we needed to start somewhere. So here is the beginning:

(If you have any ideas  you think might help more, include them in you reply  posts on the blog. DO NOT share an idea  that you are not willing to be a part of, and DO NOT share an idea when you have not started sending your letters.)

For now, we believe if several white people, maybe  several dozen, several hundred or even several thousand white people send an email to each of their elected officials and heads of law enforcement, every thime a  cop kills a person or color, or even any person, we will make a difference.

 

So, your  first  step is to go to Resources, and find every person you need to write a letter to. Also there you will find my personal letter, you may copy any or all of it, or write your  own letter expressing exactly how you feel. now, you can send a letter to each  one of the 15-20 people your list will have, then you can post a cpy of your  letter with the names of the people you sent it to, and your name as a response to our monthly blog.

Mind you, we cannot protect you from any action your human rights activity might  cause as a repercussion  from hateful and threatened people. But doing the right  thing, as you know it, is really the miimum basic standard of humanity.
